Now those of you who know me, know my love of corrugated, so how could I not join in with this challenge from Out of a Hat Creations.
Having waited nearly 6 months and totally forgotten about my free Derwent Artbar sample, it actually came on Thursday. It seems everyone got the same colour on the same day!! Anyway, back to the challenge over at Out of a Hat they are asking for Recycled Packaging. So I decided to use the packaging from my free sample Artbar. The piece of corrugated is from the inside which housed the yellow Artbar.
The outer background is the inside packaging and the inner piece with the image and the heart are from the outer packaging. I was going to paint it, but when I was assembling it, I quite liked it raw, so I left it. The string is also recycled, but I can't remember where from!!
And the bit I had left over from the inner packaging I used to create the above. Again the heart was die cut from the outer packaging.

Wonderful recycling Sam and to get two things from one lot of packaging is just amazing.
Both pieces have a natural beauty and made me want to touch them
Thanks for joining us at Out of a Hat this week with your beautiful creations.
Love Chrissie xx
And you've used it beautifully, Sam - gorgeous pieces. I have a similar piece awaiting me upstairs, lol - and of course the same colour Artbar, but yellow's always useful :-)
it's beautiful!
Very inventive! Lovely creations. Hugs,
Marianne
Maybe it was fate that your artbar arrived late to coincide with the challenge :-) I love 'raw' cardboard and I love your cards.
Fate indeed Sam two wonderful creations :)

Hi Sam - I love what you have done, the corrugated matches the tones of the images perfectly. Floats my boat! Cx
Great recycling, Sam. Love the images and colour tones.
Two lovely pieces Sam and they are both so very 'you' in style as well as in the use of corrugated.
Great use of packaging.
Hugs, Neet xx
Hi Sam. They are so elegant and lovely. Doesn't look like recycled at all. Love it. xxx
