Amazon Cardboard Packaging

Amazon cardboard packaging which contained a book I think.

Working out some sizes and folds.

I cut some papers and wrote the corresponding mark on each of the sides and papers so I knew which pieces I'd cut for which sides and also the direction I wanted the pattern to go.

And this is the finished piece.

Inside are a couple of pockets, one housing a notebook I've made and the other, two tags.

And the inside without the contents.

Added material over the hinges as it's more flexible than paper. I also added one of my paper tassels and boho beads from a previous make.

Close up of the notebook.

Inside the notebook.

And finally the tags.

Another Tag Pocket

This time I didn't use any scraps, I used one of my new paper pads.

That's why they are in 'panels' as opposed to lots of different pieces joined together.

View of the back when fully opened.

Fully opened - view of the front with the tags out the pockets.

I made the tags from the off cuts of the papers so I still managed to use up some scraps.

Tag Pockets from Scraps

I've been playing with my pieces of scraps again today.  To try and use some of them up I made a pocket holder and some tags.

This is the back when closed.

Opened out fully - view of the back.

Fully opened - view of the inside with the tags in place.

Fully opened - view of the inside with the tags taken out.

And finally with the front flap folded up.

I'm really enjoying using up my scraps.

Accordion Wallet

Watched a couple of youtube videos and decided to have a go myself.

The back cover.

The inside flap strengthened with the duct tape and to cover the back of the brad.

The accordion part using the recycled envelopes.

The bottoms of the envelopes again lined with duct tape for added strength.
