Mini Brayer Plaque

Using the basics of Anna's video I decided to have a try using the mini brayer as the focal point.

Then I added a bit of colour, sprayed it with water and kept going until I was happy with it.

I added waxes over the top.

And lightly coloured the paper flowers with silver paint.

Really happy with how this one came out.

Inspired by a video from Finnabair.

A WIP - Recycled Envelopes

A WIP created from two recycled envelopes, card and paper scraps.  Just need to make the tags and cards to go inside and cover the outside covers.

Vintage Style Tags and Postcards

Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the two 12 x 12 pieces of paper I started with.  They were awful and needed covering up with gesso!

Using scraps and some ephemera I created some postcards.

And some more and a couple of tags.

Once I'd taken the photos I decided they needed a bit more to finish them off.

So I added some random pieces of tissue tape.

Close ups of the postcards.

And the tags.

I used 3d foam to make the focal images pop out from the backgrounds.

More Stock for my Etsy Shop

I've made some more boxed notebook sets to go in my Etsy shop.

Notebook covers are geli prints.

The inside of the boxes are also decorated.

Notebooks stood inside the box.

More gelli printed notebooks for next set.

I don't know why, but my camera doesn't like blues, so it hasn't picked the box colour up very well at all, it's much brighter IRL.

Notebooks stood inside the box.

And finally a bigger box which houses five notebooks.

It's very similar to the one I posted yesterday, but not the same.

All five notebooks stood inside the box.

Again, they will all be for sale in my Etsy shop.

Boxed Notebooks Gift Set

Made another box and 4 little notebooks to fit inside.

These are the four books I made using the new to me DecoArt premium acrylics which cover beautifully.

They all fit nicely in the box.

They would make a lovely gift and if you are interested, you can find them in my Etsy shop.

Mini Die Passport Book by Eileen Hull

Chris kindly sent me the pieces from the Eileen Hull, Passport Book die cut to make like a mini journal. She also sent assembly instructions too, which was very helpful!

I thought I'd crack open my new to me DecoArt premium acrylic paints.

Then I used them to create the backgrounds for the inside pages and the cover.

And these are the other sides. The bottom two pages were black, so it's covered them pretty well.

Then I got some bits and bobs out to make some marks with the black paint. I used the white from the DecoArt chalky range. I didn't get the white or buff in the premium range - yet!

So I did a bit of stenciling and mark making to further decorate the pages and covers.

And this is my front cover with my favourite stamp of all time on the front, even though I don't own him yet, but I'm still trying to get my hands on him.

And this is the back cover.

A couple of the inside pages.

And a couple more.

These are the middle middle pages.

And a couple more.

And another couple.

The inside cover and the first page.

The view from the top.

And finally the front and back covers and the spine.
