Monster Eye Key Chains

 

I cast some monster eyes from resin and a fab set of moulds.


Then I painted them.


I glazed the eyes, added a screw hook and attached a keychain.

Black Powertex & shiny nuts, bolts, screws, hooks and rivets.




Black Powertex base, red Powertex with black bister & screws, nails, nuts and safety pins.




Yellow ochre Powertex, rusting powder, small sand balls & rusted screws, bolts, nails and bracket.

Peeled Paint


Over on the PA blog Liesbeth Fidder is back with a peeled paint technique which you can see here. It's quite ironic really as I've just watched an Andy Skinner video and he uses Vaseline as a resist too.


I had to move inside to get a photo of the bottom dangly piece as they were blowing about in the wind!!
