Mini Toilet Roll Tag Book

Another tag book made from toilet roll tubes.

And scraps of card from other projects.

A pocket with another tag inside.

Tags inserted in the open ends.

And some of the sleeves are decorated with a few different papers.

Another pocket for a mini tag.

And finally the back page.

A couple of the larger tags.

And the backs to add any journaling.

One of the smaller tags from the inner pocket.

Close up of the tag inside the little pocket.

And I also put a pocket on one of the larger tags.

I'm really pleased how it turned out and it's so colourful.

TM Style Journal

I've finally finished the TM style journal that I started from scratch when I went to Chris's last year to have a play day.

Side two, which is finished now that I've added some words to the open spaces.

These are the pages I did yesterday, this set had only been painted up until then. I spent quite a lot of the day looking through magazines which Chris kindly brought for me when we met at the end of April.

More words added to the open spaces to finish these pages.

Added the white circles and letters to the left page and the words to the right, the middle page is my favourite of them all.

6 x 6 & Tag

I muted down some of the background page that I created yesterday by brayering over with a wash of titan buff media paint.  Then using a toothbrush, I spritzed and flicked the rest of the paint. I used a couple of T!m Holtz stamps in timber brown stazon, a dog from the paper dolls Idea-ology pack and whizzed around the outside with the sewing machine. It measures 6" x 6".

And another tag with a Stampotique figure, an Idea-ology dog and again more machine stitching around the edges.

Explore Everything Tag

Ooooh it's been, and still is, so hot today. I was urging to do something but I really was so hot and bothered, however I did manage this tag using Seth's stamps and dies and distress oxides. I finally cracked open the fossilized amber! The good thing is, it's great weather to get a decent photo!

Journal Pages

I used a mix of magazine and printed images for these two pages.

Coloured the backgrounds with pan pastels.

Added doodling with coloured pens and pencils and went in search for some words.

Couldn't find any words but added a bit more doodling to the right page.

You never know, I might find some words one day.

And actually finish these pages - lol.

Building up a Page

First of all I added some collage pieces to the blank pages.

Next some colour was added. Left page is pens and coloured pencils, right page is portfolio pastels.

Lots more doodling and I really didn't like the border on the left page, so covered it with more collage pieces.

Close up of the blue page, doodling, dots, pencil work etc. I may go back in later and add some words to this, but still thinking about it.

Close up of the left hand page which I am now pleased with after adding a border, triangles and circles!!

Mini Book TM Style

I decided to make a little mini Teesha Moore style book as a thank you gift for a friend, using her 16 page technique. It's only 5.5" x 4". Prepped the pages with Dylusion paints and added some random stenciling.

I like to work on the loose pages before I put the book together.

Images added to make the front and back covers and the inside flap.

And some of the doodling on the inside. I also used coloured pencils, something I've not done before.

This is the other side of the one above, again more doodling, colouring and some words.

These are the centre pages. I used a gelli pen for the dots on the left page. This means that the dots are all raised.

And the other side. The middle pages don't have any additional flaps.

All of them together.

And the other sides.

Finally I put holes in the pages and bound them to make the book.

As this is a gift, I decided to decorate the envelope too.

More Tags .... sorry!!!!

I do apologise as I know you are all probably bored of my kraft card, pan pastels and Artbars but unfortunately (for you), I'm getting sooo much enjoyment out of making them, that I've made some more and these Stampotique stamps lend themselves so well too.

These were created on black card using pan pastels, white (100.5), neutral grey tint (820.8) bright yellow green (680.5) and magenta (430.5). The background, fence and words were stamped with picket fence distress stain using Stampotique stamps moth fab, winter, goddess, even silence speaks, hanging hearts and picket fence.  The character images were coloured with various pens and pan pastels.

All the tags were run through the distrezz-it-all tool to give them distressed and rugged edges.
