Simon Says Make a Tag
Over at Simon Says this week they are asking for a tag, as are we over at Artful Times. So if you are playing along with Simon Says please feel free to join us too. Simon Says Stamp has a theme of anything goes, so I'm entering this tag there too!!!
I decided to go with a male postage theme, why I have no idea, that's just what happened!!! I stamped the car and the carte postale in timber brown stazon. The image is from a crafty individuals mini book and is covered with an idea-o-logy fragment. Brads, ribbon, postage stamp and the paper clip were added to finish.

Playing Catch Up

This is my version of T!m's day 6 tag. I had to improvise and draw the tree myself, I think it could have done with being a tad bigger!!!! Oh and I didn't have any of the white flufy stuff either so I used white dabber paint

This is my version of day 5's tag. Didn't have any round fragments so have used the square ones instead and the images are from CI. My pine needles are a feather stamp from Paperarsty!!!!

And finally day 2 as I found a greeting stamp that I'd forgotten I had. Didn't have any mustard seed embossing powder though so had to use tea dye and it hasn't quite worked the same. Also didn't have the metal flowers and corners, and the mixing of the perfect pearls and flicking was easier said than done!!!!!

Bees Wax Canvas - Dezinaworld Challenge - Wings
June over at Dezinaworld is holding a Challenge with a fabulous prize attached. Check it out here. All you have to do is create a piece of art around the theme of wings.
I decided to do something I wouldn't normally do, I wanted to do something different, so I based my canvas on the colour blue, not a favourite of mine at all, but I am pleased with how it's turned out.
I used acrylic dabbers to cover the canvas, aqua and cloudy blue and stream to frame it. I laid out my various pieces, coloured the silver no 2 and the small fragment square (which Caz kindly shared with me and Hilda at our meet last week) with stream alcohol ink, used the dictionary definition of wings in the background, coloured a green admit one ticket with blue paint, scrunched it up and tore it in half, added a couple of paper flowers, an image and quote from Lisa's Altered Art and chalked a wing. I covered the whole piece in bees wax.
