ATC's

I created a couple of masterboards, the backgrounds are distressed oxides and I stencilled with stazon.

Then I chopped them into ATC sized pieces and decorated them using images in the style of india.  I also used lots of bling, trim and sparkles.

Black & White ATC's

Firstly created a masterboard, cut it into six.  Die cut the hearts and butterflies. Covered them in silver sticky tape and embossed them. Painted them black and dry brushed in silver.  Added an eyelet and threaded black and white beads onto the contrasting threads.  Added lace, sequins, pearls, mini hearts, mounted words.

Tags & Atcs

Had a play with some backgrounds today and made these tags. I coloured the images with my zig pens which I haven't used for a while.

A couple more with Lynn Perrella Paperartsy stamps and a compass stencil I bought ages ago but hadn't used until now.

And finally a couple of Atc's. I cut the Teesha Moore boy with the hair image in half and used one for each atc.

Atc's

Made a handful of Atcs this morning, I think I was half inspired byBecky and half by Chris. Becky for the atc's and Chris for the tag she did at a make and take on Saturday.

The background for these ones are earthy colours of pan pastel. I sealed them with DecoArt matte spray before I stamped on them. I dug down deep and found my box of wooden stamps that I've not used for a while, it was great to get them out again.

The two purply / blue backgrounds are again pan pastels and the one on the right is gelatos. The images are all stamped in versamark and heat embossed with WOW embossing powders.

And finally, these backgrounds are all gelatos and all the images have again been stamped in versamark and heat embossed with WOW powders.

Atc's with Bling!!!

I covered a piece of card with sticky silver foil, cut it into ATC sized pieces and embossed each one with a different folder.

Swiped them with versa mark and added embossing powders. Heated them again and added some schizel otherwise known as foil!

Then I made a huge mistake!!! Instead of swiping a permanent ink over the top, ie archival or stazon, for reasons unknown to me, I used versa fine ink, which just would not dry!!

I couldn't use the heat tool to dry the ink as it would remelt the powders! So I sprayed them with matte varish and then swished over them again with black stazon ink! I finally chose some images and words, but didn't want to cover up too much of the backgrounds.

Atc RAKs and Postcard for a Swap

12 - 18 February is RAK week and 17 February is RAK day. I am in an ATC swap group and thought it would be a good idea if we randomly selected people in the group to send ATC RAKs too. Today I made five to send out.

I am also in a postcard swap for UKStampers FB group, so carrying on with the same theme as the RAKs, I made this quick postcard, the theme is faces. It's very plain as it has to be posted naked, ie as it is, no envie or anything!

Pocket Letter Atc Set

Chris enticed me into a swap of 9 atcs with a theme running through them all. I got to choose the theme for her, so I chose shades of pink, black and white and butterflies. Now apparently they are called pocket letters as they are meant to have an element of surprise.

So my element of surprise was on the back. These are the backs, basically another set of 9 atcs with a theme.

We are at a Powertex workshop in Nottingham today, so we are swapping them there, hope she likes them and the surprise!!!

Halloween Atc's

I started off with stamping the webs in versamark and heat embossing with black wow powder. I coloured them with pan pastels and sealed them with a spray matte varnish.

The pumpkin is a rub on, the cat is a die cut and the spider is a piece of chipboard.

The skull is a piece of chipboard and the bats are die cuts.

I have made them for an atc swap with the theme of Halloween and I'm also entering into this weeks That's Crafty challenge of Friday 13th part 2 as I also entered into part 1 earlier in the year.

Three Atc's

Created some backgrounds using modelling paste, matte medium and textured sand paste.

Then I made three grungy Halloween type atc's for a swap I am holding over on a FB group by adding different colours of media paint until I was happy with what I had.

I added some quin gold to the pieces of wire and the staples.

The red is from the media mister.

And the words have been wiped over with quin gold.

I'm also linking up to Country View Crafts as they have a theme of all things spooky.

Two Atc's

A couple of weeks ago when I was much worse for wear, I managed to create this background using a handful of DecoArt media paints and Kate Cranes new to me hand carved stamp set.

These are the stamps I bought from Kate's Etsy shop.

Well today I needed a play and now feeling much better and able to move boxes, I ended up with these two atc's.

Lin had kindly stamped me some of the TM boy images and I found him a brass pan for a hat and did some further doodling.

And I had sooo much fun with this one. It started out as a black and white stamped Dina Wakley image, again I added doodling and hat which was incidentally, half of a bikini top!

And from the off cuts of card I made these very mini cards which are approx 1.5"s.

At the Beach

Another couple of Atc's made for a swap, the theme for them is At the Beach.

I mixed DecoArt texture sand paste and ultra matte varnish together and applied along the bottom of the atc to create sand. Once dry I coloured it with titan buff, translucent yellow iron-oxide and yellow oxide. For the sky I watered down cerulean blue. The clothes were painted in quinacridone magenta and the flesh, a mix of translucent white, quinacridone burnt orange and magenta.

This is a paper bag studio stamp and it was inked with salty ocean and lemonade and mustard seed distress inks and stamped onto an atc. The image was coloured with watered down DecoArt quinacridone magenta.

Over the Rainbow Swap

I joined a FB group to swap two atc's per month and the theme for July is somewhere over the rainbow. This is my take on the theme.

My thinking behind this one was yellow brick road. The background is a piece of canvas painted yellow, with a brick image stamped over it in black stazon. The ruby red shoes were cut out of a magazine.

And for this one I covered an atc sized piece of card with silver foil tape and ran it through an embossing folder. Added alcohol inks until I liked the colours, I used slate, black and wild plum. I found my tin man on the internet, printed him and cut him out.

I hope my swap partner likes them!!
