Clipboard Plaque

I removed the metal clip and then cut the A3 clipboard into quarters.

I used some easy structure through a stencil and once dry gave it all a coat of black powertex.

Used fast cast resin in some new to me stencils.

Next, I built up a composition using resin and wooden embellishments, stuck them down and painted them with black powertex.

Just to give some idea of the depth.

And this morning I added some colour.

Love all that detail in the dragonfly.

Gears and a Rear

Martin cut an A3 board into 3 for me and this is how I used the first one.

Placed everything down and once dry, painted with black gesso.

I decided to use a colour pallet of green and gold.

Jigsaw Piece

After a mammoth resin casting session I finally got to play with some of the pieces.  I came across this rather large chipboard jigsaw shape and laid some of the piece on it until I was happy with the layout.

I put modelling paste through a stencil, attached the resin pieces with gel medium and once dry, painted everything with black gesso.

I used various colours and mixes of treasure gold, alchemy waxes and metallic lustres to colour the project.

And outside in the greenery.

A box of Skulls and Cogs

I painted a cabinet drawer with black gesso.

I then made a mix of gel medium, acrylic paint and the small sand balls and painted the inside.

Then I took out some of my moulds and started to arrange them inside the box.

Then I painted them all in black gesso.

I coloured all the pieces before I put them back in the box and stuck them down using heavy gel medium.

More mould creations on pieces of wood

I wanted to try out my new colours of waxes.  The substrate is just wood from our old green gate - it works great.

I picked up the clear crackle instead of the clear modelling paste, but it was okay.

Oriental Toilet Roll Tag Book

I squashed the toilet rolls down, painted 3 red and 2 gold. I added patterned papers to them and cut the tabs for the binding.

Decorated the fronts with my handmade embellishments.

I didn't want anything too big.

As I didn't want to cover up all of the papers.

Vintage Style Toilet Roll Tag Book

Squashed five toilet rolls in half, painted the edges both sides with brown umber, raw umber and titan buff.  I also made five end pieces out of card to house the wires.

Decorated the pages.

Used some of the clusters I'd previously made.

A ticket tag housed inside one of the pages.

More previously made clusters.

Added some of the handmade embellishments.

And the back page.

And the flip sides of the tags.

Vintage Embellishments

I found a free download so decided to have a play with some UTEE.  I haven't used it for ages, not since I last had my melt pot out.  I triple embossed the lower half of the picture with clear UTEE.  I left the top half until I need some more doing, as I figured I might use some somewhere without the UTEE but I did colour them all with distress inks.

Started putting some pieces together.

Pocket Text Pages Oriental Book

My WIP is finished for now, but can easily be added to at a later date if needed.

No real changes to the inside pages.

Apart from the addition of another charm.

And holes punched in the pages.

And red ribbon added through the holes.

To act as a binding.

Another image added to this page.

And the back page where you can just see the ribbons are tied.

Each of the pages has a top pocket with a tag in.

A view from the top.

And to show it stands up and reveal the tied ribbon at the front which can be expanded if I decide to add more pages at a later date.

I haven't shown the tags as you've already seen them all before.
