Row of Houses

I have recently joined a fab yahoo group and one of the many swaps taking place is called 'row of houses'. The idea is to make 5 houses, they have to be within specific measurements and contain a face.  Top left has a piece of corrugated lining the roof, top middle is a piece of scrim housing a stamped image, top right has a corrugated roof.  Bottom left has a canopy and bottom right has a paperclip for the chimney!!!!

Home Sweet Home

This weeks Rainbow Lady's Challenge theme is 'home sweet home', so I made a house. The windows and door are made from corrugated and I decided to leave them raw. I added a button and thread to make a handle. The fence is a MS punch, I added some flowers and the roof is a piece of white lace soaked in cold coffee.

After my last batch of cards, I cleared the table and put 'everything' away. I knew I'd have to sit on my hands this weekend, but alas, it didn't last, everything came out again. Lesley over on the Lotstodo forum is hosting a house swap, no theme. I just couldn't resist, so here they are.

I am hosting a house swap on Lotstodo, which has to incorporate 4 housie themed inchies. I painted all of my inchies using my new water colour pallet. The background may alter as I can't decide if it's too plain or not!!!

Lotstodo Week 10 Challenge

The theme on this weeks Lotstodo Challenge is 'Man's Best Friend', so I had no problems completing this challenge. Funnily enough I was in the process of making a card for Lauren who absolutely adores Fraser. It's her birthday very soon and this is her birthday card

Clock house and dream house

The dream house and man of the house, I am also putting forward for the TGIF challenge, as the theme is techniques. At the moment I am into masking and stamping and that is how I created the diamonds around the main image on the dream house and the crackle around the main image in the man of the house. Again, all 4 will be used for the Lotstodo swap

Dans Ma Maison - Green

This weeks theme for the challenge on Dans Ma Maison was 'green' and obviously you have to make your piece from a house shape, hence the 'Maison'. Again, these will double up for the Lotstodo swap, green house and tree house!!!!

Layers of Colour Challenge - Umbrella

For this weeks Layers of Colour Challenge you had to use an umbrella and at least one stamp. We also have a 'houses' swap on Lotstodo forum so I have added an umbrella to my gate house!!!
