I had a little play today with oil paints and white spirits.
I mixed them together to make a liquid and using a pipette dropped the mixture into a tray of water.
I used a cocktail stick to swirl into the droplets.
Once I'd got an interesting pattern, I laid different types of card on the top of the water.
Some of the cardstock was glossy and some was matt.
Some was white and some was cream.
