Oriental Paradise

Again more playing with the same sort of things, namely my new LP oriental stamp plate #23 and my TH dies to make up the frame.  This frame has 4 layers, 5 if you count the two end pieces.

I played with baltic blue, guacamole and south pacific fresco paint for the main frame, haystack, pumpkin soup and Baltic blue for the end pieces and zesty zing, London bus and snowflake for the LP image, again stamping it onto crackly tissue paper.

This is a close up of the image and I love how the snowflake just makes the whole thing pop.

And this is a close up of the Baltic blue stamping on one of the end pieces.

Stampotique have a theme this week of trimmed images.  You have to use at least 3 and they can be the same or different.  Now I know my trimmed images (the 4 Asian symbols) aren't that exciting, but I did stamp them and cut them out by hand, so I am hoping they will qualify as trimmed images!!!

You are doing some lovely projects with your new set of stamps. Well done for getting such good use from them straight away. I am shocking for putting them away when I get home and they don't see the light of day for yonks! I love the fine Baltic Blue stamping on the end pieces and the main image is fab.
