Lin Brown Class - Day 2

So to day two and after our cooked Sunday breakfast at the Sizzly Sausage cafe, I was somewhat slacking on the photo front, as I forgot to take a picture of the sample Lin had made for us for today's class!!  So I've had to show you mine which was nothing like Lin's apart from it was roughly the same colours and had an oriental theme!!

So we were all given the kit and started to cover the wooden frames in T!m's tissue wrap.  If you look very closely you can see Lin is holding the sample she made.

We all swapped seats for day two and had a bit of a move around.

Lin giving us a wave whilst covering her frames.

Colour scheme and images chosen.

Painting well under way.

Lin concentrating!!!

Helen and Jacqui adding their images.

Lesley painting the frames, Jax adding images, Lin making decisions!!

And finally the weekend came to an end and here we are outside in the gorgeous sunshine showing off what we'd made.

As a thank you to Lin B for putting on this 'special' weekend for us we all clubbed together and bought her this globe which she had been admiring from the Bead Scene shop where the workshop was held, along with a voucher for her to spend in the shop.

And as a thank you to Lin S for being the organiser and informer and making it happen, we also bought a little present.

I knew these were on her wish list!!!

And this is what I made - front

Thank you all for making it such a fantastic weekend. We'll have to do it again sometime!!!

Well I know you had 98 pictures to choose from, so to get to these, well done!! I didn't notice you taking anywhere near that many, no idea how you got both your projects done too!! Both of yours are absolutely gorgeous, I don't think I got to see everyone's day 2 project properly, what with trying to get mine finished! It was lovely to see you again, and I really enjoyed the classes too.
