I decided it was time to re-visit corrugated and get grungy again. There's lots going on with this piece. Background is a corrugated die cut with the top layer peeled off and given a layer of white gesso and a layer of white crackle paint both from DecoArt. Then a couple of layers of black antiquing cream, wiped back between coats and sealed with ultra matte varnish.
The oval is textured sand paste mixed with ultra matte varnish and painted with paynes grey media paint.
The wooden heart is painted in everlasting chalky finish paint and stamped in black stazon with one of Andy Skinner stamps from the industrial set and some ink splodges.
Wings are embossed and coloured with silver media acrylic paint and metal embellishments added to finish it off.
All products are from the DecoArt range.

What a fab piece Sam! Like Helen I think the heart is pretty special!

Great texture combining in all those layers - this may be my favourite of the trio...

I agree with Alison - this is my favorite of the trio. Just be careful not to fly too close to the sun!!
