Another Couple of Jump Start Gelli Journals

I made these journals for two young ladies that I've not met but they are very special to someone that I have met. The only problem was, they both love pink!! So we settled on a pink and purple one and a pink and red one.

I was quite surprised how many pink beads I had - lol.

Inside pages of the pink and purple one.

The idea is that you leave lots of white space so they can be used a journals.

So they can be doodled, drawn, painted and stamped in.

And the pink and red one.

Again lots of white space for them to fill in.

All I ask is that they both enjoy them and I want so see evidence of them being used.

I also made them a pink keyring each, but I forgot to take a photo of those!!

I'd just like to mention Patti Tolley Parrish again as she was the original inspiration for making them.

For someone who doesn't 'do' pink, you have lots of suitable coloured paints and inks... love them both, Sam - they're gorgeous.

For someone with an aversion to pink you do have a lot of pink supplies LOL. These look wonderful - if I were the recipients I'd be scared to mess them up with my own stuff. Hopefully they're braver.

Good of you to brave the pinks for the sake of others! Fabulous prints, and I'm sure they'll inspire the recipients to play.

Hi Mo, I'm catching up after....well from before Christmas if I'm honest. What a busy time! I've just looked at the posts I've missed and love the tags you made and the wooden houses but my heart is stolen by the jump start gelli print journals here and on the other post. They are stunning, such a wonderful idea!! I love the beading on the binding. I will be looking at the videos and really want to have a go at these. FABULOUS!! A belated Merry Christmas and wishing you a Healthier and Happy New Year!! Ruth xx

More fab gorgeous journals and I have to say I'm rather liking the pink and red to be honest! It would be hard to cover those beautifully pristine prints but a lot of fun too!

Wow! These are a great idea, Sam! I really admire your courage using pink, but the fabulous abstract patterns somehow make the colour work in a totally new way so that it looks edgy and dramatic! What fun it will be to use these journals! I love the beads too! xxx
