Went to Harrogate today for two reasons. It was the open weekend at AftH and it was the GNPE at the Yorkshire Events Centre. This is what I picked up from AftH. Some (more) bargain 7 Gypsies photo anchors and 5 chipboard mdf hearts, along with 3 more Stampotique stamps.
This was so funny. Neet was demoing PP's for Oyster Stamps at the show, but she didn't see me. I had my camera in hand, and shouted 'excuse me' and she turned round and looked over, this is the shot I got!!!
This is her more relaxed doing her thing!!!
We went back later on in the afternoon and Lorraine was chatting to Neet. It was great to see her again. I don't know if you'll remember, but the 4 of us went on the Pan Pastel workshops in June at AftH, so it was fab to all be together again.
Then another funny story. This is Emma (back) Tracie (front with babe) and then me and then Clare. These are my twitter friends who I hadn't actually met until today. I followed Emma and Tracie around for a few minutes before I plucked up the courage to ask if it was actually them or not and hey presto, it was. Once I had seen Emma's fingers I just knew it was her (she always has painted nails when she's not at work!!) We were stood chatting and Clare came along. Emma dually called her over and we were introduced!!
And this is what I picked up from the show. It was great to see Leandra demo-ing the puff paint and the chalk paints. Unfortunately I was so engrossed, I forgot to take a photo!!!
