Textiles Course

I created a stamp from various materials, lino, rubber, polystyrene and foam.  Painted a background and stamped the image into a pattern.

I then re-created this using fabric and dyes.

And tonight I free motion machine sewed onto the fabric enhancing the 'white' areas.  It actually looks much better in real life because the middle layer is wadding, so where the shapes have been sewn, it's puffed up.

So finally they let you do some of the things you have been wanting to do. A person could get lost in the pattern you designed it shots the imagination off in so many directions! love it XOXO Zoe

Ooh - that is really something. Love how you have shown its development. The last photo is superb - love the variations of the colour you have chosen.
