Mini Toilet Roll Tag Book

Another tag book made from toilet roll tubes.

And scraps of card from other projects.

A pocket with another tag inside.

Tags inserted in the open ends.

And some of the sleeves are decorated with a few different papers.

Another pocket for a mini tag.

And finally the back page.

A couple of the larger tags.

And the backs to add any journaling.

One of the smaller tags from the inner pocket.

Close up of the tag inside the little pocket.

And I also put a pocket on one of the larger tags.

I'm really pleased how it turned out and it's so colourful.

12 x 12 Page

I used the elephant stencil again, twice, but I turned it over so I had one image facing the opposite way.   I created the background from different strips of 12 x 12 paper.

8 x 8 Page

I've been waiting a while for this stencil to come and the glue is fabulous.

There are two stencils in the pack, which is great as it allows one to be laid over the other to add the detail.  So this is stencil one, the blackout.

This is with the detail added from stencil two. I chose gold acrylic paint.

I fussy cut the elephant out and using my new paper pads from the Range I created a colourful background.  The glue is amazing as it doesn't wrinkle any of the papers no matter their weight.

Amazon Cardboard Packaging

Amazon cardboard packaging which contained a book I think.

Working out some sizes and folds.

I cut some papers and wrote the corresponding mark on each of the sides and papers so I knew which pieces I'd cut for which sides and also the direction I wanted the pattern to go.

And this is the finished piece.

Inside are a couple of pockets, one housing a notebook I've made and the other, two tags.

And the inside without the contents.

Added material over the hinges as it's more flexible than paper. I also added one of my paper tassels and boho beads from a previous make.

Close up of the notebook.

Inside the notebook.

And finally the tags.

More Purchases

WOW - this glue is amazing when used with paper.  It doesn't wet the paper, therefore it doesn't wrinkle or buckle the paper, it dries almost instantly and once it's on, it's on.  It's the cheaper version of Beacon 3 in 1 or Fabri-tac, but having watched some comparison youtubes it's just the same and half the price.

I've been waiting quite a while for it to come back into stock and then for it to arrive, but it was well worth it.

I bought the big one as it was more cost effective and I have decanted it into a smaller manageable bottle.

I've just had a play with the stencil too, and I love it.  You actually get two stencils so you can play with two colours, it's brilliant.

Mum's Birthday

When we went to the Range last week for a door mechanism I picked these up for my mum as it is her birthday today.

As the owl is a planter, I chose these two plants, together with a small bag of compost yesterday whilst food shopping, for her to put in it.

I left them on the doorstep for her with her weekly Morrisons shop.  Hope she likes them.

Back to Basics

Created myself a masterboard.  I just kept going until I was happy with it.

I cut it up into two postcards, two tags and two atcs.

They looked a bit plain, so I added some dymo words and they are now finished.
