Playing with Pan Pastels, Stamps & Stencils

Had a play with my new arch stencil which I picked up at Port Sunny at the weekend and also part of the one that Helen kindly bought for me at Ally Pally.  I used yellow ochre all over and dabbled with a bit of brown at the bottom.

Next I added some stamping in timber brown. Along the bottom I used the fab TH stamp that Lesley bought for me, the row of birds from the creative muse set and the background hash stamp is from Hero Arts. But I thought it needed a something else, so.....

So I went back in with a black smudgy pencil and outlined some of the arch stencil and added black paint to the edges.

It's fabulous, Sam - love the pencil marks round the arch windows; and that row of birds is great.
