I painted an mdf heart with elephant fresco paint.
I don't have any colouring pencils as such but I do have these, a black and a white smudgy pencil.
I stamped the above images in black archival and taking Jo's technique from her day 2 Paperarsty project, set to work with the white pencil.
Then I added some black and smudged it.
I then added more white over some of the black to create the grey and again gave it a smudge.
And I couldn't resist colouring in the cheeks!!!
I added some white pencil dashes all around the outside and coloured a piece of ribbon with iced spruce and black soot distress ink.

This looks great Sam. It's amazing how much dimension the shading gives to her face and you have the technique off perfectly.
