I wanted to use a cog in a different way to it being a cog if you get what I mean, so I ran some grunge past through a stencil to see where it took me.
As I haven't used green for a whole week whilst I've been off, I thought I ought to give it an outing!! I used various shades of fresco's, tinned peas, guacamole, hey pesto and limelight. I put the stencil back on and coloured it with pansy (sort of a lilac colour) fresco and also around the cog edges. Keeping the stencil on, I put various colours of treasure gold on, olive gold, indigo, renaissance and aquamarine. I used onyxite around the edges of the cog.
And finally I stamped this well known saying in royal purple stazon.
This piece was inspired by Sue over at the PA blog as she has used the treasure gold through a stencil which is a fab idea as then it goes directly where you want it to!!

This is gorgeous Sam and I lurrrve green ..... always buy those shades first, lol! That flourish looks fabulous. Wish I'd not been feeling so rotten this week as I would love to have played along with Sue. Her projects have been right up my street!
