Frances has been using the resist technique in the 3rd PA project here. I decided to combine all 3 projects in this piece. The first using a heart shape, the second using the time theme and the third using the resist technique.
I painted an mdf heart shape in nougat fresco, stamped the image from Ink and Dog backgrounds #2 plate with versamark ink and covered in clear embossing powder.
Close up of the heated embossing powder.
I used PA crackle glaze on the bottom half of the heart and painted the top coat in French roast fresco.
I ironed off the embossing powder and then sanded the whole piece back.
I stamped the background scripts and words from my brand new Sara Naumann #3 plate in picket fence distress paint. I took a couple of Maya Road clock faces and a distressed flower from the strip I cut for yesterdays piece. Stamped the quote onto kraft card in timber brown stazon, cut out each word and framed them using a white pencil.

You have been busy this week - all your projects are fab - expecially love this one xx
Oh I love it Sam - it is just so effective!
Oops, still working backwards and missed this one. Now this I really love! Fab colours and the resist technique works brilliantly alongside the lovely crackle. Watch it with the flower, young lady!

Another winner!!! I love the way you combined the projects and really went for the dark colours. Terrifically effective! Julie Ann xx
I love the darker tones and the worn look so this is a real winner for me, looks brill Sam. x
Nice Sam, the resist BG worked a treat....funnily enough, a part of next week's vid is very similar to this BG, (but GP instead of embossing) resulted in similar effect...you'll see....
Oh, yum - love that sanded, textured background, so cool, and the embossed texture stamping too.
