Lotstodo Challenge Week 27 - Red & White

I've made this wedding anniversary card for my mum and dad. It's their ruby anniversary in October. I run the white on the front, the white in the middle and the ruby at the back through the cuttlebug machine using different embossing folders. I punched the hearts out and ran them through too. I already had the word love and the dove. Added a verse and some ribbon and a bow.

It also fits into this weeks Lotstodo Challenge where the theme is red and white

Used my BIA

Spent the last couple of days sorting out all my received art. Made great use of my BIA to make up some little books of the same sorts of things. I've got lots more than what's here, this is just a small sample. It's a great way to keep everything together and easy just to pick one up and have a drool through it at all the gorgeous work that's gone into each and every piece

Clay Toppers

Made another set of clay toppers today. Will eventually make them into cards. Again, the colours are a lot brighter IRL and have a metalic sheen to them

Bandana Pieces

Created these using the bandana technique. Basically you ink up a collage of images, cover with brightly coloured inks and use a white pen to outline the stamped images

More Cards

Made the flower toppers for these by stamping into clay, colouring with alcohol inks, baking in the oven and swiping black acrylic over the top when cooled. Mounted them onto mulberry paper and stamped the sentiment. They are actually a lot brighter IRL but with no sunlight (due to all this rain!!) it doesn't show up too well

A Few More Cards

Another batch of cards using some of the background techniques detailed in the Techniques Blog

Tag Swap

These tags are for a swap on Lotstodo forum. I stamped the dragonfly images with the ink pad from my perfect pearls set then added colour with chalks. For the other two, I stamped up lots of images with black stazon. I coloured them using various colours of stazon. I applied the ink with a cut n dry foam pad. I finished by touching up some areas with a white chalk pen
