Layers and Layers

I wanted to colour some powertex makes but they weren't dry so I decided to have another play with Seth's layering techniques as demonstrated by Ali at Port Sunny.

Once finished I added some of Seth's die cuts by Spellbinders. I can't exactly remember which frescos I used apart from the fact I started off with black, added some marlin, guacamole, haystack and probably a few more until I was happy with what I had. The stenciling was done with nougat and Baltic blue.

For this tag I started off with a white background using snowflake and again kept adding layers of colour until I liked what I saw. I know I have haystack, guacamole, seaweed and turquoise on there somewhere.

I used the same mini stencil with Baltic blue, a Seth stencil from Stencil Girls and some more Seth die cuts.

And this canvas was a bonus, because instead of using a piece of paper to clean the brayer between colours, I simply brayered onto this canvas instead. Again another Seth stencil, but this is the first time I've used it. I think I probably needed to do some stamping in the background before I used it, but there's always next time!

Tags, side by side.

PaperArtsy have a challenge theme this week of die cuts, so I'd like to enter my tags and canvas.

***Edited***

I'm much happier now that I've added some stamping to the background.
