Fabric Cards

I wanted to incorporate fabric into some birthday cards, so I created a background, added some happy birthday stamped words and a fabric image which has been stamped in black acrylic paint.

The background and the fabric image are machine stitched.

The background is a gelli plate print.

Background created using distress inks.

This background was made using deli paper.

And the inside of each of the cards is stamped with Happy Birthday.

These will be for sale in my Etsy shop.

A Little Thank You

If you recall, Pat very kindly sent me some of her Merino wool tops and she has also made purchases from my Etsy shop, so I wanted to make her a little thank you gift. She told me she uses notebooks and loves to make lists.

This one is A5 size and has the same pattern on the insides and back of the book.

These are some of the inside pages.

This is another sized A5 with gelli print papers on the front and back.

Some of the inside pages.

Back inside cover, another gelli print but on deli paper.

And this one is rougly 4" x 4.5" and it's covered in a gelli print onto deli paper.

This is the inside of the cover and first page.

And the back, or it could be the front!!

I  hope she likes them, and above all I hope she uses them.

More Stock for my Etsy Shop

I've made some more boxed notebook sets to go in my Etsy shop.

Notebook covers are geli prints.

The inside of the boxes are also decorated.

Notebooks stood inside the box.

More gelli printed notebooks for next set.

I don't know why, but my camera doesn't like blues, so it hasn't picked the box colour up very well at all, it's much brighter IRL.

Notebooks stood inside the box.

And finally a bigger box which houses five notebooks.

It's very similar to the one I posted yesterday, but not the same.

All five notebooks stood inside the box.

Again, they will all be for sale in my Etsy shop.

Boxed Notebooks Gift Set

Made another box and 4 little notebooks to fit inside.

These are the four books I made using the new to me DecoArt premium acrylics which cover beautifully.

They all fit nicely in the box.

They would make a lovely gift and if you are interested, you can find them in my Etsy shop.

Little Book of Wonder

I'm involved in a swap over on a Facebook group and the criteria was for it to be no larger than 4" x 4" with a maximum of 12 pages / signatures, decorated in whatever medium you fancy or how you like, with quotes on at least half of the amount of pages you have in your book.

All the quotes are stamped in a coloured stazon.

The pages were painted with DecoArt multi satin paints and stamped in co-ordinating colour of stazon inks.

Also included are some images including ones from Teesha Moore.

I used DecoArt chalky black and white paint with lid tops and a credit card to make the marks.

These images are from the Crowabout pages.

This quote is from Stampotique.

This quote is also from Stampotique.

Seth Apter and Andy Skinner stamps used in the backgrounds.

Another Stampotique quote.

And I thought I'd add my name to the back page.

I added a piece of ribbon as a closure for the book.

I hope my swap partner likes it, I had fun making it.
