Created a masterboard using Dina Wakely paints and randomly embossed flourishes in gold and purple on the sheet

I placed images on the Atc sized pieces

Decorated with ribbons, trim and bling

Oriental Tags - Tag Challenge

I've joined an event on a FB group called 'FAB Tag 30 Challenge' and this is day ones batch.  There are no rules apart from make as many tags as you can in the next 30 days.

A Couple of Cards

A flowery pink card for my mum for Sunday as it's Mother's Day.

And it's my nephew's 21st birthday next week, so I made this one for him.

Altered CD Swap

Over on Mini Marvels FB group there is an altered cd challenge for October. There is also the option of a swap. 

Chose some patterned backing paper and glued it to the cd.

Cut around the cd, this is the back.

And this is the front.

Next I edged the cd with black rik rac, added some French themed embossed die cuts and a black rose. 

I decided it needed a little something else, so added some white gems around the edge.

To hide the attached piece of rik rac for the hanger, I cut a circle of striped paper and glued it to the back of the cd.

PaperArtsy have a theme of die cuts this time around, so I'm entering my altered cd.

Hochanda Ghoul

Having watched Tracey Evans on Hochanda I made a ghoul using a Wilkos meat basher, a clay skull from a mold, tinfoil and masking tape to get to the above stage.

This was him having been given the black Powertex treatment using lots of different fabrics including t-shirt material, lace, ric-rac and power cotton. 

Here he is outside after being in the airing cupboard all night. Now at this point I was going to wait before I coloured him.

I'm visiting a shop in a couple of weeks that carries the whole Powertex range, so was going to get some more of the pigments, but............

I couldn't wait that long so out came the Ranger Perfect Pearls, the Primary Elements and the DecoArt satin varnish. 

I really can't believe how dull the colours look even though the sun is out, but IRL they are really vibrant, I love him.

Front view, I used about three different colours of blue to give him a bit of colour.

I did the hat in heirloom gold perfect pearls and also gave his face a light brushing with it too.
