Decorated Glass Skull

I picked up a glass skull from, I think, HobbyCraft, but it was a while ago.

I came across it whilst I was looking for something else.

I gave it a coat of glass paint and then black gesso.

I then painted one half in purple and the other half in blue.

The purple side.

The blue side.

The cork comes out and the skull can be filled if required.

And finally this is the back.

Wooden Notebook Cover

Nine large wooden flat sticks bound together with wire.

Painted one side gold and stamped symbols in black stazon. Cut out and added the elephant image.

Painted the inside teal, stencilled in gold and outlined in white.

Added ribbons, gems, fabrics and another elephant.

Added paper and ribbon to the inside.

And when folded into a book cover.

And the back.

And the inside.

Inside with handmade papers added.

And the outside with the pages added.

Boho bead, charms and a closure added.

Closure from the side.

Closure from the back.

Charm and bead from the back.

Bead and charms from the spine.

Really pleased with how this one turned out.

Bright Set of Tags

Been playing with some brighter paints from Dina & Dyan to create these backgrounds.

Painted the chipboard pieces with black gesso.

Covered them with a layer of gloss varnish to brighten them up.

And finally I used dimensional paint to create the dots on the chipboard pieces.
