When we were at Port Sunny, Helen and I were looking at some mdf stands, but we thought they were expensive at 5 for £10, so I decided to see if I could make something like, and here they are.
I decorated both sides and reinforced the bottoms. I used DecoArt satin paints and brayered them on to make the backgrouds.
This is the view of the larger one from the side, you can see the fence on the right and I used to words on the other side to hold it up, the reason for this is because I used a card die cut for the tree and it was a bit heavier on that side, but it works perfectly.
And this is the smaller one which needed nothing, it happily stands up on its own.
I'm also linking up to Country View Crafts who have a theme of all things spooky.

love how these turned out, they've worked really well. Great decoration too - I do like that skull.
Lots of work on these and a lot of interest

These are brilliant Sam. I'm amazed you got them to stand so straight. Love the imagery and those paints look good too.
