The backgrounds of all the tags are the pages that went wrong with the gelli-plate image transfers.

I just simply took some elements and created collages with them.

And this last set, the gelli plate pull was really dark!

And here they are all together.

AT Coins

Chris sent me a stack of these ages ago and today I had a play but I'm not convinced they are for me. I think I will stick to the rectangular AT Cards in future.  

A Little Thank You

If you recall, Pat very kindly sent me some of her Merino wool tops and she has also made purchases from my Etsy shop, so I wanted to make her a little thank you gift. She told me she uses notebooks and loves to make lists.

This one is A5 size and has the same pattern on the insides and back of the book.

More Stock for my Etsy Shop

I've made some more boxed notebook sets to go in my Etsy shop.

Notebook covers are geli prints.

I don't know why, but my camera doesn't like blues, so it hasn't picked the box colour up very well at all, it's much brighter IRL.

Fathers Day Cards

A couple of quick fathers day cards, one for Martin's dad and one for mine.  This is actually red, but looks pink and is from a gelli print page with a stamped Stampotique figure.

This one is for my dad and has bits of TH idea-ology and other findings on it.

Male Birthday Card

Lesley saw these gelli prints (the black ones) and asked what I would do with them, so I challenged myself to use them as I need a card for my BIL.

So I used Seth's die cuts and created this card from two of the prints.

The background is white gesso and I've penned around the die cuts to help them stand out.

Birthday Card

It's my mums birthday soon and I wanted to use the same technique background that Sue used on here lastest post using gesso. I decided to use black gesso, but then when I came to put the die cuts on it was too dark, so I lightly brayered white chalky finish paint over the top to break it up slightly. I die cut the TH flowers from the gelli plate prints I made on the last post, layered them up and added a gem. Stamped the sentiment and word mum. Added faux stitching aroundthe edge with a white sharpie pen.

Country View Crafts have a theme of flower power this month.

Mini Gelli Prints

All set up to have a play with Birgit Koopsens gelli plate ideas with medium gel, gesso and sprays which you can see here.

And these are the results. Not sure I'll do it again but was good to have a play and know that gesso and gel medium don't ruin the gelli plates!!!

Altered Key Ring and Envie

Over on a FB group I've joined we were sent a key ring to alter and then send on to our swap partner. I went very simple just using raspberry and sail boat blue alcohol inks on the frame, cut a printed image out and left the front panel clear.

And of course I then needed an envelope to send it in. So reaching for one of my many gelli plate prints I made this envelope and stamped and doodled over it to create some interest. PaperArtsy have a theme this week of mail art, so I'm entering the envie.

21st Card

After making my mums card and her asking me to make one for her friend, after I showed that, I was then asked by one of my friends if I could make a 21 card for her in the same style and colours.

From another angle, the ladies name is Eleanor and I had to use some smaller letters so I could get all them all in.

And this is it folded, or as folded as it will go!

Another Flower Card

After my mum got her birthday card she asked me to make one for her friend in the same style, so that meant more flowers but at least I got a bit of green in.

And here it is stood up.

Seth Apter Style Tag

Look what came through my letterbox yesterday. So obviously, I had to have a play.

And this is what I made, dead simple but effective. The background is a gelli plate print using the prima bubbles stencil.

PaperArtsy have a theme of monoprinting for their challenge this week.

Inspired by Sue

When I saw Sues tags which you can go and see here, I just fell in love with them and knew I needed to have a play. So out came my gelli plate prints, cut to size and mounted onto a size #10 black tag.

Out came the sewing machine and I whizzed around the edges.

I simply used black media gesso to stipple through three different stencils from the Andy Skinner range and I quite liked the look of it so didn't do anything more to it.

Again I stippled through a couple of stencils with black gesso. The main is the cathedral of love from crafters workshop, which is actually an arch, but I saw two people stood together, so using more gelli print papers I made them into people.

Using a sharpie, I outlined everything in white.

And more Andy Skinner stencils, but this time I used pan pastels through them. I sealed them with Americana matte varnish spray.
