Day 12 Tag

Day 12 tag for the #FABtag30days challenge using up leftover bits from the previous tags.

Then I decided it needed something else, so I added a couple of large gems to balance it out.

Day 10 Tag

Still playing with die cutting and oriental papers, but this time I used a window.

My day 10 tag for the #FABtag30days challenge.

Tags & Tag Holder

Another couple of simple tags towards the FAB tag 30 challenge.

Then I made a tag holder from recycled envelopes.

And I stuck it in my oriental text pages book.

Window Envelope Pocket Tag Holder

I created another pocket tag holder for my oriental book. This time I used a window envelope.

And when you pull the tag out on the left hand side you can see the window and what's underneath it.

And on the right hand side I created another pocket to house a s trip of tickets.

The long tag and the tickets.

And there is also room to slot a tag in at the top.

Envelope Pocket Tag Holder

Made a tag pocket from a recycled envelope.

This is where the tag pulls out the pocket at the top.

Pocket without the tag inside.

The hidden tag and the elephant tag from the pocket.

And the backs.

And then I decided to round the corners and add something else to the tag. So this is what they look like now.

I am thinking of adding them to some of the pages in the oriental book that I previously made.

Oriental Page

I wanted to create another page for my 8 x 8 black book, but I'm waiting on a die cut topper which I bought from Ebay, to arrive.  So the image on the right is going to be replaced when it arrives.

And then I decided to glue it in the book.

Another Elephant Page

This page is approx 7" x 7.5". I've made one similar but it was too big and I didn't have the heart to cut it down so I made another to fit what I wanted it for.

I got this 8" x 8" black scrapbook from The Works recently.

As you can see, the inside pages are black too.

Stuck the page into the book leaving a slight black borded.

Cutting Dies

I treated myself to some border and oriental dies.

Oriental Flip Flop Folder

Completed flip flop folder.

This is the inside of the folder.

This is the outside of the folder.

All the separate elements.  Two inside pockets housing tags and journaling cards.

The right hand side pockets.

The flip of the right hand side pocket.

And finally the back.

The left hand side pockets.

The flip of the left hand side pockets.

And finally the back.

Everything is now glued in, so here it is opened up.

And so the flip flop begins... the right hand side.

Then the left hand side.

And back to the right again.

And back to the left again. So now fully opened and exposing the middle pocket.

Oriental Tickets

I downloaded a 'free' tickets digi, printed it off, cut them out and added all sorts of bits from my new stash to make some oriental tickets.

Mostly Oriental Papers

As the Stamp Magic Show at Doncaster Dome was cancelled on Sunday (along with lots of others unfortunately) I decided to treat myself. I ordered some oriental papers and vellums, some ticket ephemera and a couple of A4 snow themed papers.

Another Ebay Find

10 Oriental patterned themed A4 pages and 10 image pages.

Lots of A6 and 10cm x 10cm papers and images.

Loads and loads of images, all different.

And lots and lots more. The only thing that got damaged was the tissue paper piece at the top.

And more toppers.

And finally some embellishments and gems.

Got all these off Ebay in a mixed job lot for £4.75 - really worth it.
