What's Your Poison?

When at AftH last week I picked up some patterned papers including this skull one.  Yes Kate, it is pink, pink and a washed out black.  So I decided to cover another box with it.

I've used a couple of clear gem stones for the eyes of the skull, which I then made into the drawer handle. (This is my bit of bling for ABAC challenge whose theme this week is shiny, sparkly, blingy.)

I added a skull to the top of the box but didn't want to do too much else to it as I felt it would hide the graphics on the papers.

The mini bottles (this is my altered bottle for this weeks Out of a Hat Creations challenge) are filled with micro beads (more bling) and small normal beads.  The silver chain is coloured with pitch black alcohol inks but I think most of it ended up back on my fingers whilst I was trying to add the jump rings to the chain, let's just say it was dead fiddly!!!

I used foam board to build up the inside of the drawer and cover it with papers.  The words are computer generated in chiller font.

Spot the deliberate mistake, the paper on the drawer is upside down!!  I obviously haven't got the hang of which way up to put the paper on the die yet!!

And finally this is the whole thing put together with the drawer open!!

Simon Says Stamp challenge blog have an anything goes theme this week, so I'm going to slot this in their challenge too.

Beautiful box!! Bit scary, but everybody has a darker side, so I like it :-) Hope you get lucky in the challenges.
Thanks for your comment on my art market adventure. I loved doing it, but we had such a good weather, otherwise I would have stayed at home. It's more for the fun then for the profit. :-)
Love,
Marianne

Great project, Sam, I love the poison bottles and I wouldn't have noticed the upside down skulls if you hadn't pointed it out.
