Remember Stampbord???

The challenge over at Anything But a Card got me thinking.  They want us to dust off our old supplies and I had a thought that I had some stampbord somewhere and I've not used it for well, ages!!!

And Simon Says Stamp and Show have a letter 's' as this weeks theme - S is for stampbord!!!

For anyone who's not heard of it, it's a clay coated tile, these are 2" x 2" and it takes any form of medium or paint and you can scratch into the surface to reveal the white to add accents and highlights.

Both tiles have been coloured with distress inks and the LP images have been stamped in black stazon.  I punched a couple of holes in the red one, added some jump rings, chain and charms and finally added magnets to the back of them both to make them fridge magnets.

Oh yeah, stampbord! That was all the rage for a time, I've probably got some tiles stashed away somewhere too. Great job with your fridge magnets! Thanks for joining us for this week's Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge!

Fantastic Sam and I think I may even have a couple of these hidden in the depths of a drawer--they would be great for Twinchies.
