Dream a Little Dream

I wanted to give some depth to a die cut frame and I was scouring the web for gift box lids when the question was posed, why don't you make one, so I did!!

The background is a piece of printed fabric bought from PaperArtsy and placed inside the base of the shadow box.  The outer frame was created from the postage stamp frame with the largest of the rectangles sat inside it.  I painted it in nougat, Irish cream and chocolate pudding fresco paints.  I stamped the image and the script on the frame with timber brown stazon.  The dream is a Sizzix die and the butterfly a TH movers and shapers die.  The dream has been coloured in the same colours but I used more of the nougat and the butterfly is more chocolate pudding.  I added treasure gold to the outer wings and gems to the body.

I wanted to get some depth to the main image so I stuck a couple of wooden counters to the back to give it some lift!!
