Colour Challenge

I was looking for some colour inspiration and I came across this pallet which I really liked. I tweeted it to Emma and who also liked it, so I challenge her and me to make something using some or all of the colours.

So from the above this is the colour pallet that I decided to use in the Fresco paints.

And this is what I came up with, I used everything except the tinned peas.  I used a number stencil and did the bumping with the circles stencil. I painted over with the translucent claret.

I used some of the TH rub ons, the script from a PA mini was stamped in both olive green and black stazon.  The main PA image was stamped in black stazon over an area that had been covered in snowflake and given a coat of claret (this is why it looks a pinky colour, but it's not!!) I then took a black Posca pen and accentuated the lines on the left of the image so it didn't look as blockey.

I mounted the tag onto black card and edged with white Posca pen and added ribbons.

Stampotique have an anything goes challenge this week so I am entering my tag.

As much as I dislike colour challenges (rubbish at them!), I just love these colours Sam and could actually imagine trying to use them!
Your tag is gorgeous with that layered background and fab stamp. I really like the way you've used/placed the individual colours too.

I do love the colours in your challenge photo Sam but like several others I would have been scared off by them. They are really bold but I love what you've done with them. You keep tempting me with those rub ons, lol! I like how the Posca pen treatment both black and white, enhances the tag too.

Color palette seems a bit dark to me, but I love your end result, Sam! Love that stencil bumping technique! Bravo!
