Die Cut Shrines

Treat myself to a few of T!m's new die and texture fade releases.  So have been happily playing with my Big Shot, die cutting chipboard and the like.

I was however disappointed with the largest of the rectangles, as on the forth cut it broke!! So I am just about to contact someone to get it replaced.

***Contacted Country View Crafts where I bought it from and they are sending me a replacement first class on Monday***

So this is the first piece I made.  It's a kind of shrine using a LP stamp as the main image onto kraft card.  The frame has been run through one of the new texture fades.  I made the frame by die cutting the largest rectangle and placing the smallest one in the centre and die cutting it out.  It's coloured with acrylic dabbers.

This one was done in exactly the same way except I used the middle sized rectangle.  This time I painted the piece of wood white, stamped the LP image onto tissue paper and used matte medium to attach it.  The brass heart has been run through the woodlands vintaj die and sanded back.

Hope they do the decent thing and replace it. Shouldn't go like that. They're meant to last forever aren't they?

Great pieces tho.

The quality of the stuff with his name on it is getting worse and worse.

Love what you have done with it even though it broke.

That's a GOOD treat! (Though frustrating that one of them broke on you - hope you get your money back.) I've got a couple of these coming from DT duties, and can't wait to play - love what you've done already - and I can see I've got some more catching up to do, so I'm off to see what else you've been up to!
