Puff Paint & Texture Paste Tag

I mixed a batch of texture paste with puff paint and spread it over a stencil using a spatula.

Heated it with a heat gun so the puff paint puffed!!

Painted it with lumiere paints in bronze, pewter and gold.

I rubbed various colours of treasure gold over the raised areas, but unfortunately it's hard to see from the photo!!

And this is the tag embellished.

What a great effect you have achieved with the texture paste and the puff paint and I love the metallic colours too.

Love this tag, Sam. You've created some great texture with the paste and embellies.

So cool Sam... I've been having such fun with texture paste recently, but I've never gone the puff paint route - how exciting!!

Wow, I really love this one Sam! The texture created by your 'recipe' is wonderful and how neatly have you done it through the stencil - I still get weird lumps and bumps where they're not supposed to be! Great use of fabric too.

My photo
Hi I'm Sam, 45, birthday in October - Any piece of art gratefully rec'd - Thanks. OH, Martin, been together 25 years and still no plans to get married!!! We love spending time with our pupster, especially when the weather is dry and we get to take him to the woods. I love any sort of crafting and would say that I am adventurous with new materials. We love going skiing in any winter resort, but mainly the States or Canada, they have better snow!! We lost our first beardie, Max, August 2006 at a ripe old age of 14 and 1/4. Since then Frazzie has come along, he is now 9 years and 0 months old and is still a little Bugger, Bugger!!! Unfortunately in December 2008 we lost Alfie at 14 months old after only having a short time of 7 weeks loving and caring for him. He found a good buddie in Fraz and loved him to bits.
