Powertex Notebooks

Way back in November I covered these notebooks on my very first home play with Powertex to take today for a little pressie for the girls on today's Powertex workshop.

I used the ivory powertex on all of them, together with cotton fibres, fabrics, lace, scrim, hessian, mulberry bark, clay faces, shapes, paper flowers, string, dishcloths, and other bits and bobs.

This is the back of one of the notebooks.

And the back of another of the books.

This is the back of one of the books which has had clay pieces adhered to it and has been lightly dry brushed with DecoArt dazzling metallics.

These are the fronts of all six of the books, each with a light dry brushing of DecoArt dazzling metallics.

Close up of the purple and blue book.

And the front of the ruby red and pink book.

This is one of the finished books. It's been dry brushed with a mix of white and black pearl to make a silvery grey.

And this is the finished cogs book, it is also dry brushed with the black and white mix as I initially made too much - lol.

And another of the finished notebooks, this one has the dragonfly on the back which is why the front is a bit sparse.

I hope they like them, and I hope we all learn something new today as we are playing with Powertex and Stone Art, so I will be back later with a run down of the workshop.
