First Journal Page

I have again been ribbed, this time about a journal, I still don't get the point really, but anyway, under the immense pressure, I caved in. No not really, I found one for a steal of a price whilst I was on holiday and decided if it wasn't for me, it was no great loss. So anyhow, here is my first complete page.

Just love the depth of all the layers - so much textural interest to frame that fab butterfly. My favourite colours too!

Your page looks great, Sam.

I don't do AJs either lol but I suppose it's a good way to create and practice art and keep it one place

It's a fab first page Sam, and Chris is right...journals are a great place to try new techniques, and keep them handy in one place.

Wonderful page - so pretty. I think an art journal is to have fun in - try different techniques. I think you are off to a good start! I hope you enjoyed doing this page. I have never known you not to experiment. So in your own way, you have been journaling all along!!
