CoC3 meets Yellow

I used wild honey, mustard seed, picket fence and tarnished brass distress paints to create the marbled background for the tag.  I stamped the main image from classics #17 in black archival, the row of butterflies from the same set in rusty brown stazon. The honeycomb background was stamped in mustard stazon. Tag was edged in black soot distress paint. The crinkle ribbon was coloured with mustard seed, squeezed lemonade and wild honey distress stain and stamped with some script. Metal embellies were added to finish off.

Simon Says Monday have a theme of mellow yellow
CoC3 have a theme of paint marbling - pg 43. There are some fab give aways from T!m himself and Inspiration Emporium

Lovely tag Sam, the stamped image works really well. I love your doggie pics, I miss my beardie very much, we have two mad Schnauzers now though they are sleeping at the moment as I type this but it wont last.

Hi Sam. Your marbled yellow background for your tag looks very cool. Adding honeycomb and butterfly stamping over it is a very good idea because it reminds me of honey. :) Nice job of collaging your stamps. Thanks so much for sharing your tag with us at CC3C. <3 Candy
