Black & White

The background is a piece of thick cardboard with a piece of orange coloured fruit netting attached.  I covered the netting with a piece of tissue paper and used mod podge to adhere it to the card.  I initially painted with gesso and once dry painted over with white and pearl acrylic dabbers.  The music image is coated in ice resin.  The stitching down each side is hand stitched and is quite thick as I used black embroidery thread.

You have such wonderful ideas. This works so well and that background is fabulous. The black stitching brings it all together.

The background is really effective and I love both this card and your previous heart one too. I hope I get straight in time to join in "Just for Fun". It's looking good!
BTW I am on a high stool in the pic with Neet at the Golden Spoon!! Enough said!

Don't know how I missed this. Love the background you have done - what a clever idea. I love texture and this certainly fills the bill. BTW you have reminded me about the ice resin - wonder if I have enough dollars to get some?
