Another couple of samples

These are a couple more samples I've produced on my course.  The top one is couching using a zigzag stitch.

This is a piece of calico with hundreds of tiny shreds of fabric, threads, ribbons, fibres and wool bonded onto it.  A piece of black netting was placed over the top and using a blue and a purple thread I used some of the patterned embroidery stitches available on the machine.

I love your samples Sam, I think one day I'll have to dust the cobwebs of my sewing machine and have a play.
