Lotstodo - Black & White & Zoes Birthday

This weeks theme over on the Lotstodo challenge is black and white. I made this from a piece of corrugated cardboard, stuck a piece of a dictionary page and some white scrunched up tissue paper to add texture and gave it a quick coat of snowcap acrylic paint. Once dry I flicked a dryish paintbrush over it with pitch black dabber paint. I stamped the CI-110 image in black stazon onto white card and also the words just dreaming, added ribbon, lace and buttons. I inked the white flowers with black stazon and added black gems to the centres. The side panels were made from plain black paper and I doodled on them with a white pen.

I then added a piece of acetate over the front, which you can see better in this photo above

It might be a bit squashed now as I sent it to Zoe for her birthday which was yesterday - hope she liked it

Sam this is fab, love the detail - it took me a while to locate the scrunched up tissue paper but yep I got there in the end. Love the mono combo it is a real stunner, just perfect as always

gorgeous, whoever comes after me do enlarge it to see it in full swing.
I thought those side panels were embossed, then swiped over with paint when I first saw it . Great doodling .
