Summer of Colour - Week 4 Inspired by EV

Yikes is what I thought when I saw this weeks Summer of Colour scheme!!  Yeah that first colour is pink!!  Pink and green, that's a love hate relationship in my book!!

Also over at the PA blog this week there's been some fab stuff going on, but the Ellen Vargo project which you can see here, particularly took my fancy.

So combining the two challenges with inspiration for the layout from Ellen Vargo and the colours from week 4 of SOC, I came up with this huge size 10 tag.

Also over at Country View Crafts they have a theme of stencil it. Patty Tolley Parrish stencil - dangles was used top and bottom and Imagination - thistle, for the main image.

Wow, you did work those colours well. The bright cerise colour would probably have stumped me, lol! Love the background and I'm now hankering after that fab dangles stencil!

You are describing exactly how I feel about THIS weeks colours. I had a whaaaaaaaat? moment this morning when I saw them ;)

I really love this tag - especially the background, what a beauty. Always love thistles - remind me of Scotland - I don't get to visit enough :)

Now that's a colour combo that would have most people stumped but you've come up with a super design idea for this Sam. Love it! Jenny x

Terrific take on the colour recipe - the thistles really pop against the lovely layers of the background.
