So then I made some simple cards with them. They are just matt and layered and some of the cards have been run throught the cuttlebug

Another Card
Quite pleased with this card I made today. Used the cracked glass effect with walnut crystals for the background of the main piece. Used re-inkers with a paintbrush to colour the dragonflys, along with a few coats of floor wax and clear embossing powder. I then used some bits and bobs to assemble the card

Canvas Transfer
I made this canvas by transfering a photocopied image onto the acrylic paint. The piece down the left hand side has been embossed with a cuttlebug and coloured with distressed inks

Lotstodo Week 22 Challenge - Recycle It
The Lotstodo Challenge this week is to use recycled items - I covered my card with crumpled tinfoil, use stream alcohol ink to colour it. Added a bottle top with an image, a piece of jigsaw puzzle, a used 2nd class stamp, a piece of ribbon from a chocolate box and a ring pull. The eyelets were the only items that were not recycled

Secret Santa Swap in August
Andrea is holding a secret santa sort of swap, yes I know it's only August. We were given a partner, had to make something for them, send it on and they had to guess who it was from. My partner was Jo and she guessed it was me staight away!!! I made her a journey book using my new PA Structures and Arches stamps with a few other travel type ones thrown in too. The backgrounds for the inside pages were created with a distressed re-inker and water mix spritzed onto the page or distressed inks using the watermark technique. All images were stamped with timber brown stazon

4 x 4
Created this 4 x 4 using the shaving foam technique incorporating three colours. The image is stamped with black stazon onto a caught in crystal background which is in turn mounted on a piece of card where I have used the burnt lemon juice technique
Lots of techniques going on with this piece, check them out and more on our newly created blog Technique Zone

Atc's
I applied acrylic paint with a piece of cut n dry to create these backgrounds. I chose three colours which complimented each other for each background. I then used the tape lift stamping technique to create the images. Black stazon was used on them all
I created the background for the one at the top on the left using the shaving foam technique, just using the one colour and stamped the image with black stazon
I created the background for the one at the top on the right, using acrylic paints, by applying minimum amounts of paint on the brush and stroking the card in various direcetions. I used saddle brown stazon to stamp the image
The bottom one is created using the colour layering technique. I then added a tree image using timber brown stazon. I attached this to an atc which I had previously stamped the edges with fern leaves using saddle brown stazon

Just Messing
Travel Beer Mat Book
This is a travel beer mat book that I have just made using mostly my new Paperartsy structure and arched aperture plates and my Prima journalling stamps. I used distressed re-inkers and perfect pearls to create the backgrounds of the inside pages by putting them in spritzer bottles, adding water, shaking and spraying
