Postcards Swap
Zoe over on the Lotstodo forum is hosting a postcard swap. On the front you had to use an art inspiring quote and then decorate the front to match the quote. I'm not entirely sure that I've managed that, but anyway, I've tried!!!
And the reverse you had to split into 2 sections, postcard style, and put your details on one half leaving the other blank. Can only show you these 2 as the front of the other is drying. The top one got a bit messy, but then that's me all over!!!!

Tag Swap - Stamping
Hilda is hosting a tag swap over on Lotstodo and I asked to be a 'maybe' due to time and she replied, yes but I know you'll have them done by tomorrow, so that was a challenge if ever I've heard one. So here they are, all 5 tags with a stamping theme. The green one (left) has diamond glaze over the butterflies and a few of the bold words. The next is a collage of images using different tones of purples, the middle one a stamp with the middle stamped again, left white and raised with foam pads and placed on top of the original. The next is a mixture of a few warming colours, yellow, orange, brown inked together on the stamp and german scrap added at the top and the one on the right is a distressed ink background (blue!!) with water thrown over and dried with a heat gun to give a watermark effect, then stamped over the top with the PBS image. Ribbon and fibres added to finish.

Tags of different shapes
This weeks Lotstodo Challenge is to make a tag using a different shape to 'the norm', so I've used a nesties shape and embossed it with the circles impressabilities plate. I chalked over it all and swiped the raised parts with faded jeans distress ink. Stamped the image onto a piece of light blue card, rounded the corners and added the words faded dreams using the Dymo labeller, punched a hole and added a piece of ribbon
This is a piece of white clay which I stamped into and baked in the melt pot. I then painted it, used my crop-o-dile to put a hole in it and added ribbon

White All Over
Over on Lotstodo this week the challenge is to make something where 'white is the main colour' - so here is mine
The base is corrugated cardboard, covered in a couple of dictionary pages and white washed with snowcap acrylic dabber and then some white tissue paper dotted about over the top to give some texture. White lace down each side, buttons on the right, flowers on the left, including a dictionary paper rose (have to say, it's much easier to do with grungepaper!!!). A nesties frame housing a printed image and white liquid pearls to decorate. Printed words 'free my spirt' and a white bow to finish

OMG - WOW....Look what I got!!!!
Isn't this just fantastic. It's a handmade scaft from my friend Kath (aka LazyKay). It's beautiful, it's just so soft and the knit is so loose and oh my what gorgeous colours, there's 4 different shades of green in there - it's just fabulous. Obviously the photo doesn't do it any justice whatsoever, but I just had to share it with you all.
Thank you Kath for my lovely gift. When I suggested it, I was only joking or meaning for yourself, you are so kind and so so clever, thank you xxxxxx

Distressed Board Book
Hilda is hosting a board book swap over on Lotstodo with a distressed theme. This is the front of mine
And one of the inside pages
And another
And another. The idea for the hat was inspired by Burn, well her grand-daughter Milla, actually
Obviously there are more pages but I don't want to spoil it too much for the person who gets it

Black & White Atc's
Black & White is this months UKStampers Atc theme. I've gone to town with the black and white embossing powders - had fun though!!!!
Winter Wonderland
The first challenge of the new year over on Lotstodo is 'Winter Wonderland', so here is a photo of me skiing in my winter wonderland. The background is weathered wood and broken china distress inks with snowflakes stamped in metalic acrylic pearl dabber. The edges of the tag have been distressed with the paper distresser and inked with walnut stain. The black frame was embossed with diamonds through the BigShot and cloudy blue acrylic paint was applied.
