This 4 x 4 covers two challenges this week. The criteria for 4 x 4 Friday was orange and yellow and Saturday Workout was gesso. I gesso'd some areas of the 4 x 4, covered the whole piece in mustard seed and dried marigold distressed inks, then used a baby wipe to wipe the ink away where the gesso was

Arty Girlz Challenge - Nature
This weeks theme on Arty Girlz Blog was nature. So been as though I've just got a new dragonfly stamp I thought I'd try it out. I stamped randomly over the skinny and then I cut a couple out of acetate and laid them over the top right and middle images.
This will also double up as my 'W' alphabet skinny swap for wings
TGIF & My Time to Craft Challenges

A Couple of Cards
Used my new Cuttlebug embossing plates last night and made a couple of cards. Quite pleased with the results
Sale at Paper Paradise
Called into my local craft shop this morning, Paper Paradise, on the off chance, to get some more wires for my BIA, and I came out with more than I bargained for!!!!! There was a 50% or more sale on some of my favourite stamps, Tim Holtz Collection and PaperArtsy. The PaperArtsy plates are BOGOF, so I got a couple of Urban ones, loads of Sir Tim ones, as these were at least half price and an Artgirlz plate. If anyone wants me to get them anything please let me know and I'll be only too happy too, but be quick, when they're gone, they're gone!!!!!

Thank You Lotstodo Forum
Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone on the Lotstodo Forum who kindly donated 'stuff' for the kids after school craft sessions held at the Willows Library. Between us we have managed to fill a box 10 inchies high by 16 inchies wide. And believe me, there is absolutely loads and loads of stuff crammed in there. Along with another box of paints, brushes and glues. I am taking the boxes to the library tomorrow afternoon.

Sunday Stampers Challenge - Black & White
The challenge on Sunday Stampers this week is black and white. As I am involved in a fat pages black and white swap on Lotstodo forum, these fit in perfect
Layers of Colour Challenge - Balloons
This weeks challenge on Layers of Colour was balloons. I created this fat page so that I could also use it in my Lotstodo black and white swap. I created the background using black stazon and added the images and wording. I have used crackle glaze on the balloons
4 x 4 Friday Challenge - Shoes
4 x 4 Friday Challenge this week was shoes. I created my background using black stazon, added the images and words
Make a Moo - Men
The Make a Moo or Two theme this week was men. I used antique linen distressed ink to colour the backgrounds as I wanted a distressed, aged look. Added the men images and stamped various other images to the backgrounds using stazon timber brown. Added the wording 'sing' to the left one and 'life is nothing without friendship' to the right.
Small World of Inchies - Hearts
This weeks theme on Small World of Inchies challenge was hearts. For the blue one I used stamped hearts, for the pink, an eyelet and for the green, a heart shaped gem

Created By Hand Challenge - Versamark
This weeks blog challenge on Created By Hand was to use Versamark. I stamped my image using my Versamark ink pad. When it had dried, I used cotton wool to apply black chalk all over to create the above fat page which I intend to use in the Lotstodo Swap
Arty Girlz Challenge - Faces
The theme of this weeks Arty Girlz challenge was faces. I used my crackle stamp for the background and my TH stamp for the main image. Black stazon was used for the stamping as I can then use this fat page in the black and white Lotstodo swap
Think Monday Think Atc Challenge - Round
For this weeks Think Monday Think Atc challenge you had to incorporate something round on your creation, and it's all down to the footy again!!!!

Saturday's Workout - Crumpled Foil
These are 2 cards that I've just made for Fathers Day. I got the inspiration for the backgrounds from the challenge set this week on Saturday's Workout. I crumpled some tin foil, carefully unravelled it, coloured it with alcohol inks and carefully stuck it to the card, added an image and hey presto!!!

Mounted Inchies
I pinched this idea of my mate Hilda, although she's ok with is as she sent me the canvas to mount the inchies on!!!!! I coated it in Jo Sonja's pale green paint, when dry, sponged on acrylic pale green and gouache green paints. After the whole piece had dried I used black stazon on and added some flourishes to the edges.
I did an any theme inchies swap with Hilda, a number swap on Zuzu's forum and a blog challenge on Small World of Inchies
This can also be included in the Arty Girlz challenge for this week, which was to use paint
Skinny Saturday Challenge - Open Theme
This week on Skinny Saturdays the theme was open, so I decided to create something that would fit in with the skinny alphabet swap on Lotstodo Forum. I chose C for child
Crazy Amigo Challenge - Blue & Brown
This is my arch for the Crazy Amigo blog challenge. The theme was blue and brown. From the photo the colours look more like orange and purple, but I can assure you they are blue and brown. I created the background using weathered wood and tea dye distressed inks. Covered half of the arch with blue paper. Used my new Art Journey stamps to create the background and the wording using timber brown stazon ink. Stamped the main image with stazon timber brown ink onto a piece of the blue paper, cut it out and stuck it to the arch
Created By Hand Challenge - Wings
Wings, was this weeks theme for the Create By Hand blog challenge. As you will notice, I have again chosen a 4 x 4 and only used black and white so it can be used in my Lotstodo swap. All images are stamped with black stazon

I have made this 4 x 4 for the Sunday Stampers challenge. This weeks theme is France. I did it black and white so I could use it in the Lotstodo swap too. All images are stamped with black stazon ink. The edges and background have been lightly rubbed over with the stazon too

Mum needed a couple of cards for her friends grand children's birthdays. They are both mad on Winnie the Pooh at the moment. So these fitted in quite nicely with this weeks Lotstodo challenge which was Rainbows
TGIF Challenge - Travel
Travel was this weeks theme on TGIF challenge blog. I decided to stamp an image of a boy on his bicycle and use the wording sentimental journey. Olive green and timber brown stazon were used for the image and words. The background was created with antique linen and tea dye distressed inks
Think Monday Think Atc Challenge - Towers & Columns
This weeks Think Monday Think Atc theme was Towers & Columns, so I opted for the easy solution - The Eiffel Tower!!!!
4 x 4 Friday Challenge - Numbers
This weeks 4 x 4 Friday challenge was Numbers. I used my new cuttlebug embossing folder to create the background and swiped it over with various ink pads. I applied my tea dye distressed ink using a stiff brush and stippled it into the background. I then stamped the Paper Artsy Mini image onto a separate piece of card using olive green and timber brown stazon. I then attached this image to the background
Challenge Blog
This little piece covers a number of blog challenges this week. I coloured the tag using spiced marmalade and dried marigold distressed inks. Used the CI music stamp to create the background using pumpkin stazon and added a couple of flourishes. I stamped the G and the gig-gle definition using black stazon, added my image, 3 eyelets bottom right and an orange piece of wool to finish

Theme Thursday Challenge - Men Atc
For the Theme Thursday challenge this week, I thought I'd go for a vintage fella with his camera from the dark ages!!! Paper and a few stamps used to create the background, also covered the whole piece with tea dye distressed inks to hopefully give it an aged look. Stamped the main image with timber brown stazon and added the word creation using olive green stazon
