I used wild honey, mustard seed, picket fence and tarnished brass distress paints to create the marbled background for the tag. I stamped the main image from classics #17 in black archival, the row of butterflies from the same set in rusty brown stazon. The honeycomb background was stamped in mustard stazon. Tag was edged in black soot distress paint. The crinkle ribbon was coloured with mustard seed, squeezed lemonade and wild honey distress stain and stamped with some script. Metal embellies were added to finish off.

Lovely tag Sam, the stamped image works really well. I love your doggie pics, I miss my beardie very much, we have two mad Schnauzers now though they are sleeping at the moment as I type this but it wont last.

ReplyDeleteWell butterflies are my favourite images so got to love this but it really is gorgeous Sam. Don't think I ever use yellows as a main colour but this looks fabulous! Good luck with the challenge Sam.
