LP Collage of Colour

From my stash of PaperArtsy Lynne Perrella plates I pulled out lots of images, mainly the square and rectangle shaped ones and set about stamping them with black archival ink to create the above collage.

When I went over to the states earlier this year, I popped into Staples and picked up this 24 set of water soluble portfolio pastels and have only used them a handful of times up to now.

I randomly chose colours and just basically scribbled over the images until the whole piece was full.

Then I rubbed my finger on a clean baby wipe and then over the pastels to blend them in. You can see how lovely they just blend together.

And finally the completed piece. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to cut it up and use the individual pieces, or mount all the pieces onto black card, like crazy paving.
