Lin and I have been speaking about playing with the large Oval and the Cameo dies, so I decided to give it a go and this is what I came up with.
I used vanilla and Irish cream fresco paints with crackle paste. Both pieces were brushed over with renaissance treasure gold and then I topped the upper piece up with olive bronze. This sort of gave it a shabby chic / vintage feel, so I raided through my stamps and found this B Line Designs lady. I stamped the image in timber brown stazon directly onto the back piece which I'd previously sanded as I'd also used the crackle on it too. The cream fringe and ribbon were added to finish.
Over at the Ali-Craft blog there is a brand new monthly challenge which has just started in June, so I'm entering my cameo hanging.
Beautiful, Sam!!
