Shrine

Over at Out of a Hat Creations this week they have a fabulous theme of 'shrines'.  However, this did get me thinking as I don't have any ready made shrines!!!!  I wasn't really sure what I wanted to do or how I wanted to do it, so I just started playing with chipboard and the scallops on the edge die and basically came up with this.  I cut a rectangle out of the front piece to house the bottom of a small box which I painted with Fresco paints.  The feet on the bottom are cubes from a bobble!!  I'm not actually sure if this is a true shrine, but it's my version anyway!!

***Edited*** And this is it in daylight!!

  5. Just terrific Sam and isn't it nice that you came up with something completely different and definitely all you own style.

Great that you joined in with us at the Hatters for this challenge.

I couldn't wait to see how you made it but to do that I needed to come upstairs to our main computer cause my i-pod won't show black backgrounds so that means I couldn't see the writing lol.

    Love Chrissie xx
