Over at Out of a Hat Creations they have gone all oriental. I decided to decorate another mousetrap. After giving the base a coat of gesso I painted it with a bright red Steward Gill paint. I stamped the background writing in black Stazon from a stamp on the Paperartsy Asian plate 3 set. The images are from a mini book called ATC Oriental Paper Pad by Leisure Arts. Oriental charms were added to finish.
Love your use of the mouse trap :)

I've never seen this before; a mouse trap for oriental mice. But I think they will like it as much as I do LOL.

Oriental and mousetrap really go well together for some bizarre reason.
ReplyDeleteHi Sam
ReplyDeleteI love your Asian mousetrap and just for fun I'm going to ask my friend to bring you one from China so you can alter it! He asked what I wanted so he's going to get a shock!
Wouldn't the mousetraps make great calendars with the date pages in the trap bar?

ReplyDeleteFor some reason your oriental theme works really well on the mouse trap! I'm still intrigued by how you paint these without getting trapped. Am I being particularly dense??!!
